Making Hiccup's shoes: [link]

I'm going to start uploading more W.I.P shots of my cosplays in general and have them in a separate folder.

This is my cosplay progress so far for Hiccup from 'How to train your dragon'. I will be cosplaying as him on the Friday of the MCM London expo May 2011 with lovely :iconsuperfast-jellyfish: as my toothless :heart: ;A;

So far I have the top half of the cosplay almost completed, the only things left is to finish trimming the fur over-coat and attach the string on the sleeves. I know the material looks pretty bright here, but under natural light it should look a little fainter D:. I ordered some brown-ish colored suede for boot coverings which I might use to re-make the belt with as it looks a bit too-yellow here.

Things I still need to do:

- The Green pants
- The boots
- Style the wig once it arrives
- Sit and eat regurgitated fish. :).

what do u say total cost for this cosplay is? (my boyfriend is a sting-butt when it comes to money but he wants to be hiccup [nd me astrid] and it would help me out hugely!)

for the part around the neck where you attach the strings did you just make a large V and fold it over when you hemmed it?
